I confirm that I:
Add the vodka, and Bénédictine to a cocktail shaker with the cloudy apple juice and thyme syrup. Gently shake together with ice. Garnish with finely sliced apple and an optional apple foam.
To make the thyme syrup, take 2 parts water to 1 part sugar. Dissolve sugar in boiling water, stirring constantly. Add a couple of fresh thyme stalks, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Fine strain syrup into a bottle and keep.
Add all the ingredients to your Tesco, Ocado etc. baskets.
We have an extravagant looking cocktail by the team at @thegainsboroughbathspa which is comforting and has flavours of thyme, apple and the herbal flavours of bénédictine. If you really want to show off, make sure to create the apple foam to add to this cocktail. Juice 2 green apples to a pulp, add gelatine mix, sugar syrup, egg white, vanilla syrup and apple juice, shake to combine and leave in fridge to cool for 45 minutes then spray onto cocktail
