Hand crafted in small batches in the Highlands of Scotland, Granite North's Scottish Gin is distilled using water from the Cairngorms. Developed by keen hillwalker, Sandy, Granite North gin is inspired by the rugged Cairngorm national park and includes many locally forged botanicals from Northern Scotland. Taking its name from the rock closely associated with the highland landscape, this gin represents all that Scotland has to offer.

Following a long tradition of distilling in the Highlands, Granite North was inspired by the local wild botanicals, from juniper to pine, from heather to thistles, to re-create a rugged, uniquely Scottish spirit. Granite North Scottish gin includes a selection of botanicals from juniper, grapefruit, lemon pith and Grand Fir needles. This gives it a refreshing flavour profile that will warm on a cold winter's night or refresh on a Summer's day. Their perfect serve is with a light tonic water and a large rind of grapefruit.

Spirit of the Highlands

The people

Founded by Sandy Matheson, a keen hillwalker, Granite North takes its inspiration from the dramatic landscapes. The idea came to Sandy one day while climbing Braeriach, the third highest mountain in Britain. Qualified as an engineer, he has combined his love of gin and passion for the outdoors to create a gin from the North East of Scotland

The products

Taking its name from the rock closely associated with the North East of Scotland, Granite North gin is inspired by the rugged peaks and ancient forests of the Scottish Highlands. It's a smooth Scottish gin, packed with fresh citrus taste. Its outdoor personality is revealed with a subtle infusion of Grand Fir needles that complement the taste of its juniper cousin
