The founder of Broken Clock, Alexander, spent 3 years iterating and perfecting his product before making it available. Since first being inspired by the gardens at Shandy Hall in Coxwold, Yorkshire, he worked with 3 different master distillers until the final recipe, which uses apples from the orchard at the house in which he first conceived the idea, emerged.
Alexander is a descendant of the gentleman who invented the world's first astronomical watch, Leon Kuhajewski. The same sense of time and patience has found its way down those genes, and Broken Clock vodka is an homage to those routes.
Only launched in 2019, Broken Clock is a new and vibrant distillery. Blossoming with ideas, recipes and great ways to showcase the product, watch this space for future products and cocktails.
